After the store is shutdown, the artists will be given a date they need to remove their artwork/setups. After that is done, the rest of the store needs to be cleared out.

the first two tasks should be completed (take down of inside and outside decorations, etc) before the move to Christine’s house.

The store Clean up should not be done until everything has been moved out of the store.

  • Take apart store and remove decorations

    • Break down the checkout area

    • Box up the table cloths, decorations, etc and prepare for moving to Christine’s house

    • Remove all the lights on the branches and prepare for Christine’s house

    • Remove all the branches (Yvette might want these… check with her before throwing away)

    • This is a good job for newer people.

    • Should be one person who has done this previously to organize the group of 4 people

    • Pack everything in supplied/labeled bins

    • This task should take a couple of hours

  • Take down outside decorations

    • Take down the outside lights/decorations/signs and prepare for moving to Christine’s house

    • This job should not be more then a couple of hours, depending on how many decorations we are able to put up

    • Pack everything in supplied/labeled bins

    • This job is for 2 people and would help if one person had done this previously or had been on the set up committee

  • Move stuff back to Christine's basement for storage

    • 4 people and a couple of large vehicles

    • Would be good for 1 person to have done this previously and can organize the rest of the people

    • This should take about 2 hours

  • Clean store after take-down

    • Clean the store - sweep, vacuum, remove any garbage that is left

    • Make sure the store is at least as clean as it was when it was given to us

    • You may need to supply your own vacuum/cleaning supplies

    • 4 people - with one person having done this job previously

    • Should take no more then a couple of hours depending on the size of the space

  • Enter Emails collected from raffle & guest book

    • This job may be done thru-out the market - or at the end

    • You would need access to the MailChimp account and need to be comfortable on a computer

    • You would just need to type in the emails to add to the current SAA mailing list

  • Feedback email and report (survey?)

    • Kim has created a survey in the past to see how everyone felt about the event and what improvements we can make from year to year

    • Christine presents to SAA how things went
