Welcome to the Sudbury Art Association

MISSION
The Sudbury Art Association was established in 2010 and its mission is to promote and cultivate the practice and appreciation of all forms of visual arts in our community.

MEMBERSHIP
Anyone 18 years or older who would like to join a community of artists is welcome to become a member of the SAA.  We currently have about fifty members working in many different media including painters, print makers, photographers, potters, jewelry makers, ceramic artists, wood turners, furniture makers, textile designers, sculptors, floral designers, and mixed media artists.   To view benefits of membership and a list of  events, please see the Membership page.

ART SCHOLARSHIP 
Since 2013 the Sudbury Art Association has raised funds for an annual Art Scholarship awarded to an LSRHS student(s) pursuing an advanced art degree.   We earmark 10% of all funds received from Sponsors toward this scholarship fund.  In addition, we hold silent auctions of art works donated by members, on the Open Studios weekend and other events, with 100% of the proceeds going toward the Scholarship Fund.
