HM Jobs: Social Media

  • Facebook/Instagram advertising

    • We run Facebook/Instagram ads leading up to opening day and thru-out the market

    • Some of these ads are for specific events. Some are just general info about the store

    • Currently, Andrea is the person who creates and runs these ads. Kim has helped create some of the videos.

    • If you are comfortable with a computer and creating videos, we can always use the help!

  • Social Media Posts

    • Prior to and during the Holiday Market, we do daily posts on Facebook & Instagram in the SAA accounts

    • When each artist applies, they need to provide us with pictures, video and a blurb about themselves

    • We use the supplied information to create these posts

    • We also post about events (if we have any) and the raffle

    • We organize the days thru a spreadsheet and take turns posting

    • We have done this in the past with 2-3 people but would love to grow the group to 4

    • If you are not totally comfortable, but want to learn, we (Andrea & Kim) can show you!

    • This is a great job for someone comfortable in Facebook/Instagram or who wants to learn more about Social Media

  • Create Opening Day Video

    • This video is created once the store is set up

    • There needs to be two versions:

      • 1 about a minute that will be posted on Facebook/Instagram

      • 1 about 20 seconds that will be used for a social media advertisement

    • The video would contain pictures of the store to give people a quick idea of what we have.

    • This is a good job for someone who is comfortable making videos

    • Kim is the primary person who does this. But if someone would like to learn how or is good with making videos, this might be the job for you.
